Restaurant Amado
Privacy and Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains what data about you we process when you visit the Amado Restaurant website or get in touch with us, why we do it and what rights you have. It is short, because our website is simple: there is no contact form, no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
Who is responsible for your data
The processing described in this policy is the responsibility of Restoran Amado, Baku ulica, Green level 2, 81000 Podgorica, Montenegro (“Amado”, “we”).
For any questions about your data, write to us at amado.restoran@gmail.com or call us at +382 67 996 997.
What data we process and why
When you visit the website
Like any other website, the server hosting our site automatically records technical data about each visit: IP address, date and time, the page you opened, the address you came from, and information about your browser and device. This data is needed to keep the website running correctly and securely — to detect errors and prevent abuse. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with other data.
When you call or write to us
If you call us or send us an email — about a reservation, a question or an event — we process the data you give us: your name, phone number, email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and fulfil your request.
The Google map on the Contact page
The Contact page shows a Google map with our location. It does not load together with the page, only when you reach it. Your browser then connects to Google’s servers: Google receives your IP address and technical information about your browser and may set its own cookies. Google carries out this processing independently, under its privacy policy, and the data may be transferred outside Montenegro. We do not receive any data about you from Google.
Links to other websites
The website links to our profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn and Tripadvisor, to Google reviews and to Google Maps. These sites open only when you click a link, and their own privacy rules apply. The menu and wine list (PDF) open from our own server.
What we do not do
- we have no contact form, newsletter sign-up or user accounts;
- we do not use visitor analytics, advertising or tracking tools;
- we do not profile visitors or make automated decisions about you;
- we do not sell, rent or trade your data.
Fonts, images and video load from our own server, so during your visit your browser does not communicate with other companies — except Google, when the map on the Contact page loads.
Legal basis for processing
- technical data about visits — our legitimate interest in keeping the website running correctly and securely;
- data from calls and messages — your request, i.e. preparing and providing the service you ask for (such as a reservation), and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
If we ever need your consent for any processing, we will ask for it separately, and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.
Who else has access to the data
We do not share your data with third parties, except where necessary:
- our hosting provider and the people who maintain the website — only as far as needed to run it, and only on our instructions;
- Google, whose Gmail service we use to receive email;
- competent authorities, where the law requires us to.
How long we keep data
- technical data about visits — as long as needed to run the website correctly and securely, after which it is deleted;
- messages and data from calls — as long as needed to reply and fulfil your request, or as long as legal obligations require.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- find out whether we process your data and obtain a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your data or restrict its processing;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive the data you gave us in a commonly used electronic format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on it.
Send your request to amado.restoran@gmail.com. We will reply without undue delay and at the latest within the time limit set by law. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact Montenegro’s Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information (www.azlp.me).
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser, for example to remember settings or recognise your next visit.
Our website does not set cookies and does not use other ways of storing data in your browser (such as local storage). We use them neither to run the website nor for analytics or advertising.
The only third-party content on the website is the Google map on the Contact page. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies — Google explains what each of them is for on its page How Google uses cookies.
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not affect how our website works.
Changes to this policy
If we change the way we process data, we will update this page and the date of the last update at the top.
